Just got my 8pre. It works great in Garageband, but can't seem to get and input signal into Audiodesk 3.0 (i'm broke and just trying to get started haha.)
Anyway, I double checked all my I/O for my individual tracks in Audiodesk. Also made sure that audiodesk was properly connected and accepting the 8pre. Cue mix is recieving signal as well. Is there something i'm missing with audiodesk? I'm running OS X 10.4.11 (could this be an issue?)
ANY IDEAS??

Whether using GarageBand or AudioDesk, it won't matter....so Nick's question is probably the issue here. Garage Band is so simple that it doesn't make you have to think
Thank you,

Re: 8pre and audiodesk 3.0
Are you sending your outputs through the 8pre? AudioDesk requires the inputs and outputs to be the same device, in this case, your 8pre.
AudioDesk works only with MOTU hardware. You cannot use the built-in audio of the Mac. Hook your monitors to the 8pre. When you do so, you will also be able to take full advantage of CueMix to avoid latency issues.
