Hi all,
I'm working on some mixes in DP 6.0.3. Using the MW Limiter on the master, I get good levels into my monitoring mixer. After bouncing to disc, when I open the file in another program it plays back several db lower.
Also, when I try to scrub soundbites, I get no sound using SPDIF (using original 828). I have to switch to an exterior stereo input on the mixer, and again the levels are lower.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Level Problems

Re: Level Problems
Regarding levels, there are many things to check, somewhere things are not at a nominal position (no gain added or removed). Remove everything in the chain and check that bounce step after step or work in another project and have it work properly, then come back and check throughly to find the difference.
Scrubwill work in the upper bundle in the bundles list, so reposition your main monitoring bundle to the top of the list.
Knowing that the monitoring bundle seems to give the same level drop than the bounce does, I´d search for an increase in your monitoring route which affects what you hear after the main buss.
This should be in the troubleshooting forum, so check over there if it moves from here.

Re: Level Problems
Much more info is required.
What is your monitoring mixer?
What are you playing the bounce in and what is the metering?
Etc etc
System specs handy as well
