10.3.8 or 10.3 .9 ?

Hi !
I'm gonna do a total fresh install of my OS and run AudioDesk and Logic with my brandnew 828mk2.
Any recommendations on which version of the OS runs smoother ?

Second question ? Live recording on my 1 ghz PB g4 : Do i make a separate partition when installing the fresh OS ? Or just 1?

Upgrade to 10.3.9 - however Apple scewed up along the way.
The update from 10.3.8 to 10.3.9 broke dependencies
to some of the java-libraries in the os.
LimeWire application woudnt start, websites with lots
of java-script embedded code woud not render correctly etc.
Apple have since released fixes & security patches for
10.3.9 - be sure to apply all paches & updates and you should be fine.
