I found this site ages ago, then lost it (forgot where to find it), then I found it, then I bookmarked it, but couldn't remember which of my 1000's of bookmarks could be it... then I found it again, lost it again, you get the drift. I thought if I posted it here, I might remember that the next time I needed it, and I also thought some of you string players might get some use out of it.
Anywaze, it is a tres' cool thing, from the site:
"This free scale and chord generator allows you to view and print out the fretboard notes or fingerboard charts to most any scale, chord, or arpeggio on any stringed instrument in any tuning. "
I have found it to be very useful for printing out fretboard maps for when I use alternate tunings.
Cheers,
BK
…string theory says that all subatomic particles of the universe are nothing but musical notes. A, B-flat, C-sharp, correspond to electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and what have you. Therefore, physics is nothing but the laws of harmony of these strings. Chemistry is nothing but the melodies we can play on these strings. The universe is a symphony of strings and the mind of God… it is cosmic music resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace.
