I'm kind of late on this post but if you're still looking and have a fairly powerful machine try the Trash demo from www.izotope.com It's got a unusual interface but I like it for certain stuff. Very controllable.

Hi,

I have a Mesa Boogie studio caliber and use the recording out, crank the gains and keep the master volume low. Sounds great.

Brad,

How does that Randall isolation cabinet sound? The fact that it's completely closed I'm sure effects the tone.

I have a Mesa F-50 that I'd absolutely love to crank in my apartment. Will it be pretty much like micing the combo itself? Obviously the combo is open back, but...

Thanks,
Frank
