Seconded on the flatter look. Maybe a flat version also?

That would be awesome. Really like the look of that. In a strange way I find the flat look relaxing.

I agree. There is something nice about seeing 2D objects in 2D, your mind no longer has to process an optical illusion.

Hi Amplidood,

First of all, I cannot thank you enough for your work, it's fantastic...

I dl Nostalgia for 7.02 and for some reason I don't get the bold numbers in the transport section... Any ideas?

I'm on 10.4.11, would that be the reason?

Cheers

Like the look Andy. Actually I don't know if it's my monitor calibration but I noticed your grays lean toward the warmer side. I like greys that are cooler and lean toward the blue range a bit. But it's a matter of taste really. Your latest creation is looking good, but I would definitely dig seeing a flat version of it when all is done. Frankly I think that is what MOTU was shooting for in DP 6.0, but the execution wasn't what it should have been and then I just can't stand the stock mixing board faders in DP 6.0 and later. :(

Glad you like it!
Did you install on an old mod? Make a fresh copy of DP 702 and install the mod again. I didn't change the font graphic in that version, so it should be the same as the stock DP font.

That's what makes it so appealing to me. I love the 3D warm look compared to the 2D cool look. Interesting how we all see things in our own way.

Indeed. Seems like for Andy to make everyone completely happy he'd have far too many variations. But I thought I'd speak up since it's the "squeaky wheel that gets the grease" as the saying goes. The people who voice their opinions influence the process and I figured I might add my 2 cents. I prefer shades or grey that are neutral or lean toward blue not toward brown/red/gold etc. I'm not alone on that apparently.

Just so you guys know, I actually experiment with almost every idea that is presented here. Whether or not it makes it the final is never for sure, but I tinker incessantly to find the best fit. This cool gray was a good suggestion by James. I like it.
