Procrastination is often the solution to life's pressing concerns.

I wish I could absorb all the info in this forum. It requires actually USING it, in context, and sometimes I go for six months or a year without that particular context. I can't just set up a movie and try this one, for instance. If I were working in movies right now, as FM is doing, I'd have answered quickly, but I've just had to read Frodo's and Pencilina's and others' words and try to imagine it. Maybe someday I'll actually remember it when I need it.

Currently I'm buttering my bread with MIDI, and even audio isn't my major concern for now. Then the project all changes to audio, and MIDI feels like a stepchild. Each step is a different world. This software is huge. It's this disconnect between focuses that makes it easy to give the wrong advice if you're not doing the same thing at the same time someone needs the info. Only when I'm pretty sure do I respond, though I sometimes get it wrong even then.

But it's this multitude of contexts when using DP and reading this forum that makes for "never a dull moment." (my cat sometimes disagrees... he's trying to get me to do something for HIM now)
