Stupid question again about 7.1 - I just switched over to it..
I can't locate where to save settings I create for plug-ins. In
5.13, it was in the drop down menu in the upper left hand corner
of a plug-ins GUI.
Any help greatly appreciated..

Re: DP 7.1 - where to save plug-in settings?
I'm on my laptop now and don't have any third party plugins, but it *should* be all the same since the plugin window frames are the same.
The Presets menu is the first (or second) sticky menu in the upper left hand corner (bottom row beneath the track name). On an empty preset setting, it will say "None" by default until a preset is selected. There are other options in that menu:
Next..
Previous..
Compare..
Save...
Show...
Presets are stored Library> Audio> Presets>. If you do not see your plugin preset folders in that location, try going to that plugin and use the "Show..." option: "show", as in "Show presets in Finder"-- if you want to keep all of your plugins in one location. Certainly, you can create subfolders to keep your custom settings better organized when using the "Save Settings..." option.
