Firefox bug?

I use Firefox for my web surfing for a whole host of reasons; can't stand Safari. That out of the way, has anybody noticed a bug/problem with the latest version (3.6) of FF?

Say you're checking your email in Mail and have no web browser up and running; not just no open windows, but not running at all. You have an email with a link to a webpage (say Motunation). You click on the link, and instead of just opening 1 page for the link in question, 2 pages open up: the one for thelink in question and whatever you have for your homepage to open when you open the browser. I've checked preferences and nothing's been changed from the previous version (3.5.7) so I don't know what's going on.

Another is a whole bunch of themes that used to work in the older version don't work in the new one. Fair enough as it takes time for developers to catch up. What is a little disappointing is there are some themes that have been updated to supposedly work with 3.6 but don't.
