Some people here use it to great effect. I'm not certain, but I think Richard Einhorn mentioned that he works in Quickscribe a lot. There's no question as to the quality of his work, so if indeed that's what he said, that would be a good testimonial.
I find it too quirky for my own uses, but I'm more committed to mimicking real-time performance rather than creation of scores. Massive amounts of CC (continuous controller) data pretty much forces me into the MIDI Edit Window for most of my work. But I've used QS to print out parts and rudimentary scores. It's no substitute for a real score program like Sibelius or Finale, or my favorite (now defunct) Mosaic by MOTU, but it gets the job done.
