Tempo control set to Conductor automatically?
Is it possible to have DP's Tempo control default to Conductor within a project?
Would be nice not to have to manually assign it when I create new sequences.
Not a big deal, just didn't see it in my travels.

Save it that way in a new file template.

Re: Tempo control set to Conductor automatically?
I went ahead and created a template with the tempo set to conductor. This works well when calling up an initial project.
However when I create a new sequence within that project the new sequence comes up with the tempo slider as the tempo setting once again.
It's no big deal for me to set it manually, but when I use the Song window and merge the Chunks to a sequence it would be nice if the Conductor track setting could default (because I always forget to set it

When you save the template, call it "Default" (no quotes) and select the button to use as the default. When you hit save it will ask if you want to replace the file. Answer yes and that will do it for projects when you select "New" from the file menu.
Right, Dave?

MLC - I tried saving the template as a default and to the list and that works as far as having the initial sequence open with the Conductor selected for tempo.MIDI Life Crisis wrote:When you save the template, call it "Default" (no quotes) and select the button to use as the default. Right, Dave?
However, what I'm really after is to have that setting stick when I go to the Chunks window and create new sequences within that project. I don't think I was clear enough about that in my initial post.
