That's the point of the dragster. You adjust it while everything is plugged in. Plug everything in and adjust your "drag" until you get the sound you want.

Just to add to this... The problem with loading on guitar pickups is not the presence of low impedance at any point in the signal chain, the problem is that passive guitar pickups do not like to see low impedance at the start of the chain, where they interface initially.

Ok, someone, please enlighten a clueless composer on the subject. When I record guitar I come out of the instrument, into a Line 6 pod, and out of that into the 1/4 inputs on the 828 mkii. I do have a Countryman Type 85 sitting on the shelf but for some reason I never use it. Guess I forgot it was there. :wink:

So, should I be using it? Should I be coming out of the pod (or straight out of the guitar now that DP has all that groovy guitar stuff) into the Countryman, and then into the XLRs on the 828?

Thanks for the specs on this. I've been using it for quite sometime and I'm guessing that the difference between it and the new ZBox will probably be negligible.
