Ultralite S/PDIF out?

Hi!
I have a mix that i want to print.
Everything is assigned to one Master Fader that is assigned to the Main Out.
I am using Reason & other virtual synths so BTD is not an option.(unless i track everything but trying to avoid that)
I want to route that output to the s/pdif out of my ultralite & then go back in to the ultralite & print the mix digitally.
When i route the Main out to S/PDIF, nothing is sent to the S/PDIF.
If i route an individual channel to spdif, that works fine so i could go that route but it's a lot of tracks & it makes me nervous that something may be changing mixwise in the process..
I'm wondering if there's a simple way to route just the Main Output to s/pdif.
Any suggestions?
