ultralite Mk3 and mobile Acer ASpire 8930g-bn

hello,

I am installing my new mobile configuration, consisting on a Acer aspire 8930g Quad core notebook , and my traveller ultra slite MK3.
I am under Vista.
My pc does not have a buit-in firewire port,so I bought a firewire express card connectec to my motu.
Everything is being recognized.
but when I use my music software, the motu makes the all programms freeze.at
Even Vista freezes sometimes: I know it comes form the motu because why I switch it off everything goes back to normal, just pop'up says that the motu audio device has been diconnected, and please turn it back in.

Anyone could help me on that ? ?
