wanna listen to this?? all made on DP6

Post by Tonio Ruiz »

Hey folks, hi to ya'll

I just want to share a track of my band's latest album, I did it all on DP6 HD192, all except the drums that were recorded on a PTHD studio (because of the room size for drums, the studio had PT) but everything else was recorded in a DP6 HD192 studio, and mixed in my DP6 HD192 mix room studio, I produced/engineered it all, so, be kind  but seriously I just want to share a DP experience

you can listen to it at

http://www.myspace.com/qbomusic

the track will play itself when you open the link, for Mac users, myspace it's a bit tricky on mac's so you might have to refresh the page a few times if it don't play right away... :?

Have a nice day mates

Nice job! Although I'm listening to it through my laptop speakers I really like how the vocals sit in the mix. Also, the guitars have a nice crunch to them but don't over power the rest of the track.

thank u guys so much for listening to it, it was a great experience working on DP pretty much for the fisrt time and for a whole project, I had a hard time dealing with shortcuts and few bugs that DP still have here and there, but over all, It delivered what I needed and it was a lot of fun though there is still tons of stuff to learn from DP

what I really need now is to upgrade my Mac G5, I pushed her to the limit, she keeps up really cool for being a G5 single 1.8, with only 1.25gb Ram, some songs where up to 50 tracks, man I need a new mac...

take care U guys
