HELP Kernel panics on start up :(

Now It's my wifes computer and she is Storming around and NOT happy so this is a strange one.

Kernel panic on startup, just loads the KP page (you know the one in different languages)

I've booted off the install disk repaired all, Done tech tool pro everything checks out, ram, HD, sectors, Smart status verified etc etc.

ANY IDEA"S please.

A message comes up saying "can't find driver for this system" I think

OK Held down option in start up the puter is up and running just as the wife walks in the door from a hard days work (whew)

Now to back up and reinstall

Least the wife is slightly, well a lot happier

BTW this crisis seems to be cause by the 12th feb PPC security update although according to the apple forum site mainly PB's

if you have the time always check the apple site before updating. ive learned the hardway not to trust them not to cheese up my stuff. sux too cause apple has NEVER acknowledged when they sent out garbage updates that theres even a problem. they remain silent while hundreds of posters do their best to find answers there. if you complain they remove your posts and even worse ban your account. it happened to me before. its ugly. i like my comp but apple can kill my a$$! live and burn i mean learn.
