how to delete measures and audio

hi all,
hope everyones holidays were good.

i have been working on a song that is now about 6 minutes long. it has a bunch of markers("verse, bridge, etc") and it has the tempo changes programmed into the conductor track.

i realized this morning i need to remove about 8-16 measures of the song around the 2 minute mark.

how do i delete these measures, and delete the audio on those measures while getting my conductor track and markers to move up in their proper place after the measures are gone? i want to make sure all my tempo/markers move up once the measures are deleted.

the audio within the unwanted measures can go, so that is not a problem. i just need to make sure that all of my tempo data and markers move up once the unwanted measures are gone. thats my main concern as i do not want to have re-program all of my tempo changes and re-position all of my markers.

In the Tracks Overview highlight the section you want to remove in the time ruler and then choose SNIP from the edit menu. All MIDI, Audio and Conductor events will move up together
