Hey all,
I'm generally pretty good with signal path and the like but for the life of me I'm not sure what the purpose of the Cuemix Console software is. I run cubase 4 and 2x2408mk3 and 1x2408 and am not sure what the purpose of the cuemix console is. Please no flames, i'm asking in good faith, because if there's something I'm missing I'd love to know.
ALSO, and this questions is a little more complicated as it relates to the use of my 2408s within cubase. I have 6-7 slave computers set up as samplers that I trigger from my main box, they all come into the 2408's via individual lightpipes. I only use 4 channels of each (mostly two I have the others turned on for overflow)...To monitor in cubase I create an audio channel that is routed to each of these inputs and then create a group channel which I route to my 'final destination' channel. This seems pretty complicated...so to my question....is there a way to route the inputs of the 2408s, whether it be in Cubase or Cuemix software, to one set of stereo pair outputs without having to create all those audio channels?
all the best
