Hello,
Ive formated my computer many times and had no problems reinstalling the ultralite but this time its giving me trouble. I unplugged everything from the Ultralite except for the firewire cable and it powers on! I check in the device manager and firewire is working properly. The firewire is powering on the Ultralite but windows will not recognize it! Anyone know why this could be happening?

Re: Windows Wont Recognize Ultralite
Hello,
I would guess you tried the usual, loaded the drivers from the supplied MOTU disk. Any error messages? There should be several windows device manager references to MOTU, look for all of them. Some will be under audio, and some under 1394 devices. If there is a yellow triangle or a question mark, the driver did not install correctly.
I downloaded an EEPROM update for mine and installed it, but that was after I had it working with Windows. That brought it up to date.
Good luck!
