DP 2.7 won't install on G5 Dual 2GHz. I want to upgrade to 4.5/4.6. I use 2.7 on an older Mac which I want to take out of service. When I try to run the 2.7 installer from the original DP disk, an error is generated which says it can't find the CD.
Any suggestions?
I'm concrned that, if I buy the upgrade ony, it won't work because 2.7 isn't installed.

I think 2.7 is OS9 only. I don't think it's gonna work. I think the upgrade path will handle that upgrade. As long as you have a registered copy, buy the new update and install.

Hey man, DP 2.7 is OS 9 only!!!
You need a full installation disk DP 4.5.
Trying to install DP 2.7 on a G5 is the same, like trying to install a Lawn mower engine on a Porsche!

I meant if you buy a DP upgrade, MOTU will send you the whole new DP4.5.2 or 4.6.
I just moved to OS X recently and DP 4.5.2 was an upgrade from 3.1.

Azuza , If you have the upgrade from 2.7 or 3.1 to 4.5 , you will be abble to load and instal 4.6 ....
