Hey, I've known all along that you meant no harm, RK; I just figured I'd play soccer mom and watch from the sidelines as it sorted itself out.

Besides, I'm not gonna mess with this amplified dood. I mean, have you seen his avatar? The guy's standing in fire! How he tweaks the GUI files under such oppressive conditions is way beyond me.

Yes, fire does set a tone. That's why I'm cooling it for now.

Seriously, please go start your own thread. I don't want this one high jacked by someone with a "pro" chip on their shoulder. This thread is intended to be about a mod that I'm sharing with others to help them with DP6. If you are not even going to use it, then all the nonsense is really not appreciated. Everyone else who has come in with comments and suggestions has had a completely different tone. And these are people that are *using* the mods. Being taken way too seriously? That's always ALWAYS the parting shot of those who never had a constructive goal to begin with. Saying that "we're going to see lots of pretty colors" was NOT intended to be a light hearted comment. It was very snide. And I didn't deserve it from someone that's not even truly interested in what I'm doing here.

Okay, you win. Whatever you think is true.

You began this project before 6.01 was out and I was looking for a mod to use myself while being too swamped with work to begin something you'd already had in progress. I applauded your efforts, made a few well-intentioned wisecracks that you laughed at (strawberry pimple?) and then you turned on me.

AD, this isn't about me at all. I'm just your dartboard. And I'm taking it away now. I could start a thread of my own, but I'm not here to steal your fire.

Hey Amplidood.
I just wanted to let you know that I re-posted those graphics we were talking about before. So feel free to download them.
Cheers.

Hey Dood-

1. As always, thanks for your efforts- my eyes are doing much better these days!

2. I think you have the contents of the "in Contents/Resources/English.Iproj/Images" and "in Contents/Resources/English.Iproj" folders swapped in the 2.2 update.

3. I like everything here except the changed labels. I actually liked what you had done on this for 1.72. Now that you've found how to modify the mixer button labels, using the "kMixingBoardSoloMuteButtonsIconSet_PictID.png" file from the 1.72 update no longer works since the labels are gone. Suggestions?

I'm really getting into what Amplidood does with his GUI mod. For my part, I say to everyone: enjoy what the Dood is doing, and if you've got further ideas, do them and post them. Don't suggest that Amplidood do or not do them. Just do them and post them. I'm really enjoying everyone's graphics in this thread; not so much the words.
