Hello All,
This may be a silly question, but here goes...
I was pointed to the Micro Express to solve two issues.
1) I need a MIDI interface to PC for three keyboards
2) In live applications, I was looking for a 'MIDI-director'. I would like to control one keyboard live from another. At other times I would like to shut off the control easily. Since the Micro Express can merge and channelize MIDI data even when not connected to a computer, I proposed setting up a preset with no MIDI transmitted, and another that transmits the control data. The fact that I did not need to have this connected to a computer for this live application was a big plus. My silly question is this... "How does the Micro Express get power when it is not connected to a computer via USB?"
I thank all for any advice.
