Hit me up if you own this piece of gear. I'd like to know which driver you're using and how is it working for you.

I'm using it (along with a 2408 MK3) on a PCIe-424 card in Vista 64 with the 1.6.7.0 drivers. I find the MOTU Vista drivers a little funky in that they don't always detect the hardware if the PC boots with the rack unit switched on. I also find that I can't get as low a latency as I could with my old Delta 1010 units.

Other than that, the 24I/O seems to work pretty well, although I'd like to see them update their Vista drivers. Motu were quick out of the blocks with their Vista support for the PCIX-424/PCIe-424 based products, but since then have dropped the ball a little IMHO.

Well, I am still using Windows XP. I tried a year ago to get their latest driver to work on my system, and it didn't. And for the life of me, the latency is not as perfect as I'd like for it to be. I love the gear and the sound of it, but I need that latency to be on the dot!!

Are you using the ASIO or WDM??

The newest version of the drivers didn't work for me. But, in a week or so, I will retry them since I finally went ahead and updated to Service Pack2 of XP... I've never tried recording at 96Khz..

Before changing over to Vista, I was running this interface under Windows XP 64-bit edition. It ran pretty much flawlessly under that OS.

That said, these units aren't quite capable of the ultra low latency of other PCI based interfaces I've used in the past.
