can you lock MIDI notes to soundbites?

Post by Mattman »

Hi every one,

in my most recent project,I've modified the conductor track to line up to the (1) recorded kick, of every 4/4 measure.
I've used the trigger on all the drums on my drum kit. I can't seem to get the timing to line up correctly. You must choose between timing accuracy and velocity on the trigger slider, I choose faster trigger at 0 or 1 ms, and the MIDI notes that I record rarely line up with the real performance. The problem is there all off, the big problem is they're all off at varying degrees late and early.
I've adjusted, in the sequence window, by zooming in all the way and shifting each individual, triggered, MIDI note to line up with the sound bites that triggered them. This takes too much time
Does anyone know a short cut?
