CueMix won't start

i'm using DP5.12 and a MOTU 828MKIII. When i want to start CueMix console on my Mac, it start, but i can't load any presets, i can't go to some kind of mixing station to do any routing for my recordings. Is CueMix FX only hardware controlled via my 828MKIII?? I thought i could change routing on my mac, and do some EQ-ing and Compression too.. Is it possible i need an update?

For Cuemix to work your MOTU interface needs to be connected to the computer and powered on. Cuemix is merely a GUI for your MOTU hardware's internal DSP processing. There are no FX nor MOTU mixer in your computer. It's in the hardware itself.

yeah, i know, but isnt' cuemix fx in mk3 a softwarebased program to make it easier to work in the hardware.

Yes, I wanted to edit rigs too, but had to collect the 896mk3 to do so,
and the 896mk3 is in a rack...

MotU could easily fix this... please
and the recording 'without' DSP too
