828mk3 as amplifier for multiple headphone signals possible?

Post by zivo »

Hello!

I need an audio interface to connect an electrical drumkid, bass, 2 x guitar and a mic and send it all out to multiple headphones. This way my band and I can practice in my own living room instead of investing in a dedicated rehearsal room. So my question is this: Can the jack outputs on the back of the 828mk3 mirror the stereo headphone output on the front? If not, do you know what I can do/buy to make this setup work?

Thank you for reading my post.

Yes, they can be set up to mirror the phones output. However, you will need a headphone amp to get the output up to proper levels. You can get those with several separate channels (mixes) whereby you could use all 8 of the outputs to give you 4 separate stereo monitor mixes.

Great!

Thank you for your reply. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but this means that the jack ouputs on the back are mono, right?

Thanks in advance.
