After I installed to the latest drivers, I've had this really annoying, loud buzzing that comes in the left speaker right after I stop playback. This seems to happen with Sonar and Adobe Audition, but not with Ableton Live, for some reason.
I've tried reinstalling the drivers to no avail.
I've tried adjusting the latency, and I've noticed that the pitch of buzz gets lower as I increase the latency.
I called Motu tech support and they had no clue.
Any ideas as to what might be going on would be very much appreciated.

did you try rolling back the drivers to see if they are the problem.

did you just install the 828 or did you just install new drivers for it. if you just installed new drivers you should be able to go to MY COMPUTER right click scrolldown and select properties, choose hardware page then open device manager in there open up sound, video and game controllers then right click on the 828 then double click on it and open driver page then try too roll back driver there even if you uninstalled the previous drivers to install the new ones windows keeps a copy of all drivers stored also you say the old 828 do you mean the 828 MK2. also try contacting MOTU and ask them where to find old copy of drivers.
