Jazz piano piece

Post by RainMan7 »

I just finished writing my first 'serious' jazz piano music. :)

That being said, the garritan samples sound absolutely atrocious! ARGH! Whatever though, I thought I'd try to get some feedback on the recording and the composition. :)

Thanks for listening!

Cool.

Here's an arrangement I've started working on. I am arranging the music for bass, piano and drums. Let me know how it jives with you!

Thanks

RM, Ilike.
On the added accompaniament (2nd track), the bass works. But the drums needs some work, as you probably know the timing is off, but its too busy IMO. Chill on the kick especially.

Give it another crack. Its jazz, think jazz-not R-n-R.

For sure! Thanks for the good advice. I sometimes get a bit too IDM with my beats when I should be more chill. I am actually in the process of 'chilling the drums' out so they aren't so frantic.

Thank you.
