I wanted to demo the Precision Maximiser, and realized that I had activated the demo mode a couple months ago, and then competely forgot about it
I use the Multi compressor and the precision limiter - has anyone found the maximiser to be of extra benefit (i.e. louder tracks... I know... but you know how clients are ), and does it work well with the Limiter, or should it be used separately?
Thanks.

Hi,
The Precision Maximizer is more of a RMS (root mean square) maximizer than a Limiter. Although it does increase the perceived levels, it can become very harsh sounding if you're not careful.
Some folks prefer using it on individual tracks as opposed to the Master Fader or in a mastering scenario.
I've used it in both situations successfully, but a little goes a long way.
Blessings
