Globally remove missing automation

Post by kid »

Is there a way to remove all missing automation from a tracks whose plugin was removed and previously automated? I have tons of automation data missing and I don't want to have to remove them one at a time.

That's a good question. You can do it per track by going to the view filter and only viewing the automation of the missing plug in. I don't know of a global solution. Yet : )[/i]

Sure. There was a very recent thread about this. But in a nutshell:

Go to the view filter window (Apple-F). In there, unselect ONLY the things you DO want to keep, so that you can only see the automation you want to remove. Once you´re totally certain about this, just make a time range selection in the TO window including the tracks you want to remove the automation from. Press delete. Restore your preferred view settings. Done.
