Install OS 10.4 on 10.2 iMac?

Install OS 10.4 on 10.2 iMac?
Is OS 10.4 going to bog down a iMac that shipped with OS 10.2, 768 meg of ram? This iMac is used strictly for internet and photos. It's the half-sphere model with the 17" screen on a chrome arm, pre-USB 2.0.

Probably it would be fine. I had a first generation Mac mini 256Mb ram that shipped with 10.4 so eventually ran that. I've used an imac same as you are talking about with only 256Mb ram which ran fine with 10.3 install + updates.
