Mach 5 - Velocity to sample start

I am thinking of buying M52 as alternative to EXS24 with Apple Logic. I like to use velocity (or any other MIDI controller) for realtime changing of sample start point. (My previous hardware Emu's did this beautifully)

EXS24 (stupidly) only lets you shift over the very initial section of a sample, not over the entire sample.

Does anyone know if M52 allows velocity to sample start to jump to ANY part of sample?

(You don't seem to be able to ask questions like this on the MOTU site unless you buy it first!)

I just tried it out and it works for me. You might need to disable disk streaming for the part, though.
