hello
I am considering purchasing digital performer when 6 is released. at my school I am attempting to have digital performer(5.13) sync to an MPC using MIDI clock. I'm pretty sure I have everything set up right. It is just simply not working.
Can anyone confirm that Digital performers MIDI clock recieve sync can actually work?
Also the other way around, Digital Performer could send to the MPC, but it doesn't seem to relay tempo information correctly. the note repeat feature on the MPC is useless when synced to Performer.
I like writing and working in the relative time scale of MIDI and
It is very important to me that my sequencer remain dedicated to being a MIDI sequencer an handle MIDI clock tempo correctly, both sending and receiving. (Logic 7 does this flawlessly, but amazingly Apple has removed the ability to sync to MIDI clock in Logic eight)
Anyway, I think I remember getting this working in 4.6, so I was just hoping to see if others have issue with this.
Thanks for your help

I think that it is a matter of how you set things up in the MPC to sink with DP. I was dealing with this issue before a while back. It took a little bit but I got it to work.
