I don't know if that's gonna solve your problem but don't forget the post about skipping 5.12.
DP5.13 seems not too bad...

Well, I did the update to 5.13 and still the same issue. I was curious so I checked it out in Logic Express and Garage Band... SAME THING. This seems to be an Audio Units issue. It happens on both my internal drive and External FW drive, and when using my 828MkII or built in audio.
PPC Dual 2.0, 3 gigs RAM, OS 10.4.11/DP 5.1.3 Mach 5, Ethno, Nomad Integral Bundle/MTP-AV, 828MKII.
Well, I was poking around on the o'le interwebs and found this bit of info on Apple's web site:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304826
This is the same issue we're seeing in DP with audio units. Apparently it's a plug in manufacturer issue. Standard reset messages are not being handled properly by the plugin. Though I'm getting it with the AUs that ship with the Mac OS.

Good find!!! The way they describe it is exactly the way it happens in DP for me. Hmmm, so if DP is sending that message (and I'm going to assume for now that it is), then it's the plug-in's fault.dcate1971 wrote:Well, I was poking around on the o'le interwebs and found this bit of info on Apple's web site:

Time to experiment a bit further. Thanks for finding and posting it up. Very helpful.
