MelodyneBridge doesn't work in DP 4.52

Hi all,

I want to use the MelodyneBridge in DP but after updating to 4.52 the MelodyneBridge doesn't pass the examination of the AU-plugs. Then I went back to DP 4.5 and 4.12. In 4.12 it passed the examination, but it still not works. When I open the MelodyneBridge in my DP projects there apears no tracks in the plug and I have no connection to Melodyne 2.6 (and 2.5 also).

Any ideas?

Alle the latest versions, DP 4.52, Melodyne 2.6, MOTU 828 and MOTU Fastlane, DP G5 2,0 enough RAM etc.

I also have DP4.52 and Melodyne 2.6 on a G5 dual 2g. Melodyne bridge is working fine for me.

Iwhat system version are you using? am using 10.3.8.

Is the MelodyneBridge the same thing as Melodyne Sequencer? I watched a demo of it and was blown away. Does it really work in DP?

Sometimes installers don't remove old versions and don't install either. Melodyne 2.5 won't work with DP 4.5, try removing all Melodyne plugins you've had installed by hand Library/Audio/Pluginsand also remove Melodyne App., repair permissions and then do a new fresh install of Melodyne 2.6 , it should work.

Thank you for your fast replies.

Yes, it is the same thing as the Melodyne Sequencer (if one can name it a sequencer, I think it is more an audio editing tool). With the MelodyneBridge you should have a connection between DP and Melodyne: you can stream the audio into Melodyne, change some things or add another voice and then you can go back to DP and you hear the edited voice from Melodyne.

Unfortunately it still not works in my system (since I went to DP 4.52 and a new AU examination was necessary).

I use the latest Mac OS 10.3.8 also.

I tried some reinstalls but maybe it is a good idea to deinstall all old Melodyne Plug-ins. I will try to remove all Melodyne plug-ins I have installed.

For those of you who are interested:

I have found the solution.

I only did custom installations of Melodyne 2.6 until today. Only the application and the AU-Bridge was checked, because I don••™t need VST or RTAS bridges. Today I made a last try and I checked only the AU-Bridge. Then there was a error message of the installer: ••œPlease check one package to install••Â
