Velocity sensitivity=volume. WHERE????

Post by Alan Lindgren »

I'm sort of a newbie to MachFive, and I can't seem to find a simple way to turn off velocity sensitivity as a controller of level. Basically, I want NO velocity sensitivity, like an organ patch.
Any response would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

You can either set the part's velocity curve to Flat (in the upper right corner, along with Octave, Transpose, Fine Tune, etc.), or drag the Vel slide under the amplitude envelope down to 0. Note that the latter affects only the selected keygroups, so if you want to change that for all keygroups, select all of them (or none of them, which has the same practical result).

Worth noting, too, is that the Vel slider under the envelope is unique for each of the six envelopes. So you can have your amplitude envelope ignore velocity, but still allow velocity to affect the filter & pitch envelopes.
"I don't see any method at all, sir."
