DP won't play !!??!!

(newbie alert)

i'm in the middle of a project (all audio tracks, no MIDI) - i'm nearing completion and have bounced to disk in a few formats. i'm just ready to go in and put the finishing touches on when...

DP has decided not to play anymore. just this project file... others still play fine.

when i hit the play button (or the space bar) the play button in the control panel just blinks in blue.

it is making me insane.

i am quite new to this app and i suspect that i'm overlooking something obvious, but what??

i think i've have had this problem before and fixed it by restarting my machine. this is not doing the trick this time.

Sounds like you may have hit command 7 by accident and the sequence is waiting for external sync. Is that clock symbol on the right of the transport controls highlighted? Just hit command 7 again to toggle off
