After installing OSX 4 on a G5, and installing the PCI-424 update from the MOTU website, my computer now won't 'see' my 2408mkIII or the MTPAV interface. They don't show up anywhere.
Any suggestions?
Order of doing things properly?
Thank you!

Version 3? The latest version I can find is 1.2.0.
BTW, version 1.0.8 is 2 years old and was for early versions of Panther. The newest one is for Tiger and I assume a newer version is soon to come out for Leopard which may be released this month.
I suspect the problem may have been not uninstalling the previous driver and leaving the interface on.
But if it works for you......

You're right..... I hadn't unplugged the Firewire and didn't trash the previous driver..... when I did, it worked.
But I did use the version 1.0.8 driver from the MOTU website.... and it works fine ....... I have to upgrade from OSX 4.0 to OSX 4.10 now, but hopefully all will be well..... I'm still on a G5 here.
I'll check my driver's number (when I get to that computer later today) to see if it is indeed version 1.0.8 that got loaded into the Extensions, etc.
Thanks for checking on me!
