Crashes uploading audio files

Post by glsimonsen »

Hi,

I've got Colonel Panic and blue screen crashes happening everytime I go online to try and upload audio files.

I've repaired permissions with Disk Utility. I've run Tech Tool Pro which reports no problems whatsoever with my G5. I've run Applejack as far as it will go on my computer--it runs thru the first step of repairing disks successfully, then it proceeds to repair permissions, but never quits this process. (how long does it take applejack to repair permissions?) Then I repair permissions again with Disk Utility which shows everything to be fine. I have also trashed Safari prefs .plist.

After all this troubleshooting I try uploading again on the internet and I get the crashes again. What do I do now? Thanks, Glenn

Hi

To where are you uploading those audio files?
Do you use any FTP application for uploading?
What kind are those audio files?

Hello,

The files are Mp3's which I'm uploading to Internet Archive (www.archive.org). You don't need to use FTP for this. I uploaded around 10 Mp3's successfully before I started having problems. Thanks, Jarok.
