828 mkii - routing to outboard effects

Hi All,

Is it possible to send all sound from the MOTU out to an FX unit (kaoss 3) then route it back into the MOTU and monitor it?

I'm sure I can rig it within Cubase but I intend to use the 828 as a standalone device for live performance, so I wanna know if there's a way to do it directly.

I was successful in doing this.

I set Mix B's main output to be Analogue 3+4. Analogue Out 3+4 is wired to the input of the Kaoss.

Then I turned up all the other analogue inputs in Mix B and panned accordingly.

Then I selected mix A again, and muted every channel except Analogue 3+4. The main output for Mix A is SPDIF, I use SPDIF to monitor.

Works fine.
