Okay am I going @#$%&*^ nuts or do timing changes made to soundbites NOT appear (visually) in your sequence window (OR the W.F. editor) when you use the Quantization features of DP? I am new and all but for real...this is silly.
The whole freakin' goal is to be able to lay down scratch bass parts (as a guit. player) during the writing process, and then to be able to do a rough force timing concept to clean up the attacks on the notes since I suck at bass.
Dude! Where's my edits........Heeeeeelp

Quantize Audio must be selected within the Quantization window. DP defaults to MIDI Quantize only, so you will probably have to make a change in the window when you select "Quantize" from the pull-down menu. And yes, changes do show up in the sequence editor waveform display.
Now, go practice your bass.

Audio Means Soundbite in the context of the reply yes?

Cause if that's the case, it didn't change anything
(What is automatically selected in the drop down menu is "notes and soundbites.")

What I hope for:
As it stands, i'd like to be able to cut a bassline (say four minutes)
and then do one blanket quantize that shifts the attacks into their proper slots (or as close as is reasonable) If there are glaring errors beyond that, then I would chop up the soundbite and go from there.
That's the workflow I am hoping for.
I think my answer may be that I need to be specifying beats within soundbites in the dropdown in the Quantize window.
I'm at the office now and have to wait to get home to try it
