Heh, Chrispick - the easiest way to get these presets on every mac in the country - put a $100 price tag on it and 10,000 people will have pirated it within the week.

Finally tried the custom patches!

Post by msmeritt »

Hey, chrispick, I got in touch with you almost a year ago to get those custom Modulo patches of yours. I only last summer got out of my day job and only now am really getting into serious music creation/production with DP. Just today, I finally imported the patches and tried them out.

I like quite a lot of them. Some really interesting sounds. I can definitely see using them in synth-based music. By the way, I also love many of the names you gave the patches :)

Sorry for the delay, I was very delinquent, but thanks again for the gift of free patches. Looks like some worthwhile things can be done the freebie Modulo. Keep up the good work, and I hope you continue to get some appreciation from the crowd for the patches.

I'd heard (or read, actually) references to these patches but could never find the thread (mustn't have tried hard enough). And now here it is on Page 1, staring me in the face ••“ and the patches aren't available any longer. :(

So come one, put me out of my misery here and tell me, once and for all, are the chrispick Modulo banks fact or myth?

Kind regards.

Fact, not myth -- there are two threads, and in at least one of them (forget if it's this one or not) he made clear that he was taking the patches down from the URL he'd posted but that anyone who wanted them could private message him, and he'd email them to you. That's what I did -- PM'd him, and he made good very promptly by emailing me the patches.

Who knows, if enough interest is drummed up, maybe he'd post them somewhere again or allow someone to post them somewhere for download. Meantime, PM. Good luck!

Read a couple of posts back about how there hasn't been a link for a while and what to do instead.

Big Shout Out to chrispick for emailing me the patches. Tried them out today and as a result Modulo has been resurrected and reinstated as a viable instrument on my machine.

Thanks Chris!

Kind regards.

Same rules for installation. IMPORT BANK, then set all BANKS to the new batch.

Give 'em a spin. And let me know what you think.
Now the link is really dead! All I get is an error page. :(

No offense, but my gosh, how many times do I have to repeat that the link has been broken for ages and that you have to private message chrispick if you want them? Does anybody actually pay attention here? ;)
