Mach 5 not showing up in DP
I have loaded it several times the iLok is in a good USB port all files appear to down load. Mach 5 just does not appear in the Audio Plug-ins. Using Dp 4.12 on 1.25 dual proc. G4, Mac Os 10.4.9, had the same condition with 10.3.9

Try this-- go to:
Macintosh HD> Library> Audio> Plugins> MAS (folder).
Look for the MachFive '.bundle' file. Toss that- (trash).
If you have the AU version installed, go to
Macintosh HD> Library> Audio> Plugins> Components (folder) and toss the MachFive '.component' file as well.
You might want to use your Finder or Spotlight to make sure that you do not have any duplicates of these files hiding somewhere on your hard drive. If you find any duplicates, delete those, too.
Toss your Audio Unit Info file located:
User Library> Preferences> Digital Performer (folder).
Reinstall MachFive version 1.2.3 as though you'd never installed it before.
Shut down the computer completely for several minutes (5 should do it) and boot everything back up.
Keep in mind, however, that later versions of DP (of which there are many!) have addressed certain issues such as these which were common in 4.1x. There was quite a span of time when lots of users were not able to get their plugins to appear in DP.
I would strongly recommend updating to *at least* 4.61 because so many of these bugs have been fixed. I would not recommend 5.0 or later at this point. 5.0 and 5.01 were buggier than 4.61, which was by many accounts the most stable version of DP since version 3.11. 5.1 and later deal with Universal Binary and its related quirks, so you really don't want to get into that can of worms right now.

Mach5, MSI & EI not showing up in DP5.1 - HELP PLEASE!
Hey guys,
I uninstalled my Mach5, MSI and Ethno instruments a while back as part of a troubleshotting exercise I went through with DP5. I got my DP5 problem fixed, but now I can't seem to get these instruments working again. The install goes along fine, they just don't appear as choices in DP5 when I try to add a new instrument track.
I followed the steps Frodo outlined in this thread - deleting the component and bundle files and AU Info cache (which has worked for me in the past) but this time it is not working for me. I must be missing a step or something else is awry.
Any suggestions for what to do next? (I submitted a tech note several days ago to MOTU on their web site and have tried calling them several times, but their service is very hit or miss -- that is the kindest description I can give it.)
Thanks in advance for help on this.

According to MOTU, Mach5 won't work on intel. You have intel? (MacBook Pro kind of implies intel). That is why it won't show up.RobTalbert wrote:I uninstalled my Mach5, MSI and Ethno instruments a while back as part of a troubleshotting exercise I went through with DP5.
