How to insert with 896hd?

Ok! Once I‘m into the mixing session I would like to insert some external FX, how could I do? I tried to out the track and in the out from the FX processor, but it was really delayed... is there any other way? Normally I work 1024 sample rate and 24bit/48Khz, and I can‘t work without direct monitoring because I have an incredible long latency problems!!!

Hi, what software are you using? what drivers does your software employ to drive the 896hd? what routing did you do in the soft and in the device?

Hi there!
I‘m working thru Cubase SX and Nuendo 3, and it‘s the lastest drivers version. I would like to insert, for example, my Joemeek comp to ch.1 during the mix, so I need no latency problems.
