intel mac's buzzing?

I have a G5 and it's the first interation...

Basically the headphone jack has a bit of a horrible buzz on it ( that may dimish with the use of CHUD)
Mbox's has a terrible time with it whining away

is this still the case in the new Intel mac's or have they solved it?

I haven't heard anythign about it - but it don't hurt to ask?
