Hey everyone,
I'm backing up some old dat tapes into DP 4.6 using an Mbox 2. Things are going smooth with dat tapes that are at 44.1 k but when I put a DAT tape in at 48 k I get the following message:
"The Audio Hardware's state changed while MAS was running. (MOTUAudioSystem MAS MasCoreAudioWorkThread.cpp, 385[60:0])"
Can anyone explain this? I have tried to set DP to 48k instead of 44.1 but it doesn't seem to allow me to do this and just continuosly brings up this message. I know the Mbox2 can handle 48 k.
Thanks

I don;t have an mbox, but I use a digidesign Audiomedia III sometimes.
I have to make changes to the Audiomedia's sample rate in the "Digi Coreaudio Manager" (inside your "Applications" folder, inside the "Digidesign" folder) before I can use it @ 48k in DP etc.
And you have to quit all audio apps such as DP first before you can change it.
Open "Digi Coreaudio Manager" and click the "HW Setup" button -- a dialog will open that will let you set it to 48khz.
At least that is how my Audiomedia III works. Maybe this will work for you, I don't know.
