I'm using a Powerbook G4 with Digital Performer and a Digigram VX Pocket PCMCIA card. Everything is current (operating system, drivers, etc.).
I'm getting a low-level noise when I play or record audio using the VX Pocket, and I'm wondering if I have something turned on that should be off. It sounds like a synchronization pulse. I've heard no specific complaints about something like this with the VX Pocket, so I figure something's not set up correctly.
I do not have another digital audio converter to use for comparison or troubleshooting.
Thanks, in advance, for your speculations.
