Title just about says it all.
I've had a
Sequoia Volume going for awhile.

One of my bread & butter plug-ins, bx_limiter_True Peak is giving me grief—same issue they had to fix over Sonoma last year. Bug and test reports sent in as I find them.

Native Instruments is saying don't do it. I'm not eager myself. Ironic, however, that I initially jumped to Sonoma out of desperation to fix a Kontakt issue!

And—as we’ve been amply warned—if you need to continue using Finale, migrate at your own risk.
I’ll be standing pat with Sonoma for at least 9 months.

Finale is fine. I've been testing 27 over the macOS 15 beta since before the announcement. In fact, that's why I set up the test Volume in the first place. I was a beta tester for 26 & 27 and was putting together my list for 28 when...whoops!
Reading between the lines of that nonsense email from MakeMusic, it was a preemptive strike. The real announcement should read:
"If you have any problems of any kind over Sequoia or later, don’t even think of contacting Support!.

Just got a note from Audio Modeling saying don't do it. The Sweetwater compatibility chart has not been updated for any developers. At this point I think it is prudent to wait (that goes without saying).

Since I know it's only a matter of time, I spent a little this morning...
I have my 828mkII FW and my MTP AV & micro lite units running just fine over
Sequoia. Since both were fresh installs, zero problems. As with Sonoma, the MOTU MIDI driver must be installed first, then the Audio driver.
With Apple Silicon, the Audio driver will not work if booted from an external drive as certain .kxt files will not load; not a problem with the MIDI driver. It's an Apple issue for which there is no workaround. APFS Volumes on the System drive only.
Pictures or it isn't happening, right?

In another thread I mentioned that I accidentally ended up with Sequoia on my system drive. (that's a story for another day)
I'm happy to say that I haven't had any conflicts yet. I can't speak to the issue of VI compatibility because the projects I'm currently working on have none, but as far as I can tell DP 11.32 has been solid, Finale 27 has worked as expected (with the usual glitches still in place) and all of my graphics and page layout software is working flawlessly.
Your friendly neighborhood Phil

I'll be posting an update tomorrow or Thursday about my journey and, more importantly, the solutions that I discovered along the way. I want to install Sequoia 15.1 onto a test Volume to see if a couple issues were fixed by Apple first — that will happen this evening.
Feel free to post any questions and if I know the answers, I'll try to cover them all.

As of October 26, Eventide is saying the coast is clear.

Well so far so good here. Got of to a little bit of a shaky start, but those are the things I've come to expect. Seems sometimes after an OS update Macs need a reboot (or two) to get "settled in." Very unscientific and illogical I know.
DP seems to be doing okay. Had some hiccups with EuControl quitting on me but hasn't happened since the reboot. I'm launching different apps and I'm frequently being presented with a dialog to allow an app to be able to search the local network etc. See below:

You just have to do that once and you're not bothered again. I had heard rumors on forums that
Sequoia felt a little more responsive. Not sure if that's true. Seems to be, but could just be my mind playing tricks on me. So far I've opened a few projects and played them back and seems good.

One thing I did find... MODOBASS 2 has some real issues with
Sequoia!
MODOBASS2 seems to be randomly dropping out. It will play for a while and then stop... making clicking sounds. This is in DP and I seem to have fixed it by loading a different preset then loading the one I was previously in.
It's even worse in Pro Tools. I had a test project and MODOBASS played fine until the same spot in the track where it jumped up to an A2 I believe and then went silent until it returned to a different pitch. Something strange is going on with it. I had to switch to a different, not-as-good-sounding alternative.

In DP, try disabling MODOBass, the re-enabling. I think IK improved it with the last update, but this VI had real problems with notes getting stuck (and then not sounding) in the past.
Using it just tonight with DP11.33 and Sonoma, there were no issue.
