Re: Mach5 only as stand-alone and not as plugin Instrument
Thank you Rick for replying, ...but as things stand right now I've resolved the issue by consulting the DP7 manual and "checking/reviving" the M5 plugin in the audio plug-ins preferences window (page833); DP simply had to examine the M5 AU extension, validate it and restart the audio engin...

Re: Mach5 only as "stand-alone"and not as plugin in DP's V-r
Hurray!
I've resolved the issue by consulting the DP7 manual and "checking" the M5 plugin in the audio-plugin preferences window (page833). DP simply had to examine the AU extension, validate it and restart the audio engine once more.
And voilà! It was no big deal in the end.
Cheers!

Mach5 only as stand-alone and not as plugin Instrument
Hello again, I've recently had to reinstall and authorize most of my music software; Mach5 v3.2.1 was one of the items. With a little help from Dave Roberts at Motu I've managed to get Mach5 authorized and functioning ; however it only works as a "stand-alone" Instruments and Digital Perfo...

Re: Is there a way to go back to Snow Leopard from El Capita
Just to add some clarifications.... Hello-hello again, Until a month ago I had a fully functional 2009 iMac running Digital Performer 7.24 in MacOSX 10.6.8 (Snow-Leopard). I had a few software instruments and audio plugin's from the likes of Motu, Spectrasonics, Garritan, Waves, Native Instruments, ...

Re: Is there a way to go back to Snow Leopard from El Capita
Wow Mike, Thanks for your help... your response came in a bit too late for me on account of not having kept up with the flow of the conversation which I had initiated here on the forum. As things stand right now I have had to erase my hard drive in order to proceed with re-installing DP as well some...

Re: Is there a way to go back to Snow Leopard from El Capita
Thanks guys; this is really helpful. I've noted down the instructions and shall perform the clean install once all my essential files will have been brought onto a sufficiently large backup disk. Does a "Time Machine backup" also save the files contained in the Mac's System Folder such as ...

Is there a way to go back to Snow Leopard from El Capitan?
Hello friends, It seems I can't even erase (remove) El Capitan from my hard disk and, worse still, it is impossible to start-up the iMac from the original OSX 10.6.8 DVD's which came with it when purchased. I had a superbly working machine (be it somewhat an older model) until a friend convinced me ...

Communication lost between DP7.24 and Spectrasonics VI's
Hello again, Problems do seem to come all at once! :? One DP7.24 behavioral aspect Item which has drastically changed since my renewed installation of DP7.24 last week is the fact that whenever there is a Spectrasonic Instrument plugin (Omnisphere, Trillian or RMX) window opened and active I need to...

Re: Surprisingly DP 7.24 refuses to boot up
Thanks to your advice Shooshie everything seems to be working again. Here's a brief summary of things I did in order to have DP boot-up in a healthy way. Reinstalled MacOS 10.6.8. Re-installed DP 7.24, repaired permissions. Trashed all the of DP's old preferences; the one I believe which was key to ...

Thanks Shooshie for replying.
I'm now investigating that which you suggested I should try, it sounds promising. I've done quite a bit of researching today and it is getting late now, here in Holland; so I'll get back to you tomorrow. Thanks again!

Surprisingly DP 7.24 refuses to boot up
Hello, I try never to bother anyone with my petty software problems and always try to resolve them either by consulting the manual or some of my friends who also use DP; however today I'm desperate, for my once so stable DP 7.24 has all of a sudden become prone to FREEZES when doing anything with Qu...

Re: Plugins TC Powercore 75% Off until 1 july...
For me this is a big surprise! How is it musicians can still be enthusiastic about TC plugins being on sale at this time? Baffles me! It is my belief that TC Powercore Firewire plugins were working fine in their versions V.1.5, V2 and V.3 but once MacOS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) was introduced, a ...
