LAME! No power increase. $500 to buy the same card you already own! Well yeah, but it's actually $400 if you already own a UAD-1 and if you want, you can transfer all of your existing authorizations to the new card. At least now there's a path to PCIe machines and I'm not out all that money I spent...

Check out Universal Audio's web site. They're advertising The new UAD-1e for PCI express.

The whole iLok thing kinda ticks me off. Waves suggests keeping their iLok authorizations separate, which means 2 iLoks for some people. Where does it end?
